Jean Grey #11

Part of the "Psych Wars" arc and a tie-in to the Phoenix Resurrection event, this Marvel Legacy issue puts a determined young Jean Grey front and center in her striking green-and-black costume, one fist raised and one finger pointing skyward as an impressive assembly of Marvel heroes — including Scarlet Witch, Namor, Emma Frost, and a crowd of X-Men among others — rally behind her. David Yardin's cover composition does a fine job conveying the weight of the moment, with a warm amber gradient lending the whole scene an almost mythic glow. It's a satisfying snapshot of Jean stepping into something much larger than herself, and fans of the era will find this one hard to pass up.
