In "Hjemmet mitt," a lone, invisible gas-being on a remote planetoid watches as an Earth crew arrives, unaware they plan to strip the planetoid of its resources. When the crew's intentions are revealed, the being seizes one of them in desperation—only to trigger a chain of events that leaves the entire crew dead. Now, stranded in the silent ship, the being drifts through space, trapped in a body it never chose and a fate it never asked for.
