The Plutonian holds a press conference on the White House lawn to introduce the costumed crimefighters and their union as The Paradigm. Four years later, Charybdis moves to eliminate Encanta, but Qubit intercedes and brings her to a safe house where he compels her to reveal her last interaction with Modeus. The US military brass institutes Project Ultimatum, summoning an as-yet-unnamed creature as a fail-safe against Earth's rogue superhumans. Charybdis informs a small news crew that he will now be known as The Survivor and that The Paradigm will take The Plutonian down.
