Iron Man #14
Iron Man #14 (June 1969) presents one of the Armored Avenger's more atmospheric threats, as the cover by Johnny Craig sets a genuinely tense scene: a looming, blue-skinned figure with glowing eyes — the Night Phantom — towers menacingly while Iron Man cradles an unconscious woman in his arms, caught squarely between peril and protection. Craig's bold linework gives the confrontation real weight, balancing the red-and-gold suit against the villain's hulking, shadowy presence. It's a strong slice of late-'60s Marvel suspense, with Archie Goodwin scripting and Craig pulling double duty on pencils and inks.
