Iron Fist, the Living Weapon #4

Part four of "Rage" arrives with a cover from Kaare Kyle Andrews that's as stark and striking as the series itself — Iron Fist strides forward through a shattered urban landscape, his golden mask and red dragon emblem cutting brilliantly against a near-monochromatic backdrop of crumbling walls and cascading debris. The minimalist black-and-white palette, punctuated by those bursts of chi energy crackling at his sides, gives the image an almost woodblock-print intensity. Andrews, handling every creative role from writing to inking to colors, is clearly building something with genuine artistic ambition, and this issue's cover alone makes a compelling case for picking it up.
