Kaare Kyle Andrews was born in 1975 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. He is a comic book artist, writer, and filmmaker whose work spans both mainstream superheroes and his own creator-owned projects. Andrews first drew attention in the late 1990s, and his style is notably flexible, shifting from hyper-detailed realism to looser, more cartoonish expressions depending on the story. He is best known for his runs on *Spider-Man* and *Iron Fist*, particularly the series *Iron Fist: The Living Weapon*, which he both wrote and illustrated. Andrews also created the original series *Renato Jones: The One%*, a crime thriller with a distinctive visual flair. Among his key collaborators are writers and editors at Marvel Comics, where he contributed to titles such as *Incredible Hulk*. In 2006, he became the first recipient of the Joe Shuster Award for Outstanding Artist, honored for his work on *Spider-Man: Doctor Octopus*. Beyond comics, Andrews has worked in film; his directorial effort *Sniper: Assassin's End* reached number one on iTunes in September 2020. His catalog of published comics spans from 1999 to 2017, and he remains a versatile figure whose art and storytelling continue to be recognized.
