Invisible Kingdom #2

The second chapter of G. Willow Wilson and Christian Ward's five-part sci-fi series finds a lone figure — rendered in glowing teal silhouette — clinging to a tangle of massive cables as an imposing structure looms overhead, its face marked by the neon-lit word "LUX" and ringed by blinding white orbs of light. Christian Ward's cover work is stunning, bathing the scene in deep purples and blues while splashes of cyan drift through the air, giving the whole composition a feeling of both wonder and quiet danger. "Walking the Path Part Two" promises that this Berger Books series is very much hitting its stride.
