Marvel's 2019 relaunch of Invaders arrives with a cover by Butch Guice that commands attention: the massive visage of Captain America looms as a backdrop while Namor the Sub-Mariner surges forward in battle-ready armor, chains and all, against a sky filled with warplanes and explosions. A third figure — darker-clad and blade-equipped — charges forward in the foreground, the whole composition anchored by the familiar concentric rings of Cap's shield. The issue also carries a moving black-band tribute to Stan Lee (1922–2018) at the top, making this opener feel like both a bold new chapter and a respectful nod to Marvel's storied past.
