From Jim Valentino's Shadowline imprint, Intimidators #1 arrives as a mature-readers superhero ensemble with a playful, deconstructive sensibility. Miguel Montenegro's cover presents a bulletin board collage of costumed figures — including a caped hero with a prominent "A" emblem shaking hands with a suit-wearing man, flanked by a winged warrior, a masked youth, and a woman — all surrounded by scrawled annotations, pinned photographs, and splattered stains that give the whole thing a sardonic, behind-the-scenes feel.
