The fifth issue of Warren Ellis, Declan Shalvey, and Jordie Bellaire's Injection closes out the opening arc with a cover that's quietly unsettling in the best way — a lone figure seen from behind, facing a city skyline bathed in deep, ominous crimson beneath churning dark clouds. Shalvey's composition makes the anonymous silhouette feel both central and powerless against whatever that blood-red horizon implies. It's a striking, atmospheric cap to one of 2015's most thoughtful sci-fi thrillers from Image Comics.
