Injection #2

The cover of Injection #2 presents a striking, disorienting image — a figure rendered upside-down, gripping a firearm while surrounded by an explosion of shattered crystal fragments, spent casings, and debris frozen mid-scatter against a cool grey palette. Declan Shalvey's cover composition deliberately disorients the eye, pulling you into a world where something has clearly gone very wrong. Warren Ellis, Shalvey, and colorist Jordie Bellaire were already building something distinctive with this 2015 Image series, and this second issue's cover signals that the tension is only escalating.
