Infinity: The Hunt #1

Spinning out of Marvel's 2013 Infinity event, this opening chapter of The Hunt drops readers into a high-stakes "Contest of Champions" with a cover by Slava Panarin that crackles with tension. A darkly armored figure dominates the center, wielding a long bladed spear, while a blonde woman and a green-skinned woman look on with visible alarm from the left — and a red-masked hero and a blue-costumed panther-like figure react with equal urgency at the bottom right. Writer Matt Kindt and artist Steven Sanders set the stage for a thrilling ensemble adventure where young heroes may find the odds very much against them.
