This anthology issue features multiple stories about Native American characters. "Long Bow—Blackfoot Boy" follows a young warrior preparing for a wolf hunt with his tribe, commanded by the clan-master to compete for the finest trophy. Another story depicts Starlight, a young woman caught between her tribe's warrior bands and her desire for peace, as she seeks out a Mohawk named Starlight while internal conflicts arise over matters of honor and patience. A third tale involves Swiftfoot encountering the Thunder Lodge and a shaman's supernatural medicine, with a golden arrow and mystical pipe central to the narrative. The issue also includes stories titled "Manzar" and "Orphan" (featuring the Cheyenne), though limited page samples restrict detailed plot synopsis for these remaining tales.
