Indiana Jones #5/1984
In "Gullgudinnen," Indiana Jones finds himself once again at the center of a high-stakes chase when the Chachapoyan gold idol he lost to René Belloq resurfaces in a New York exhibition. As the idol's display draws the attention of the South American native Xomec and a mysterious blond woman, the museum becomes the battleground for a desperate bid to claim the artifact—leading to a tense and deadly confrontation atop the city's rooftops.
In "Gullgudinnen del 2," Indiana Jones ventures into the Brazilian jungle in pursuit of a lost golden idol, only to be ensnared in a deadly trap set by Xomec and a mysterious blond woman—revealed to be Ilsa Toht, sister of the late Nazi archaeologist Ernst Toht. With the idol at the heart of a scheme to elevate Xomec as ruler of the tribes and sabotage vital rubber supplies, Indy must survive a perilous fight against both man and beast, culminating in a desperate struggle on the wings of a fleeing airplane.
