The collection also delves into Banner's personal life with supporting characters like Jim Wilson and Doc Samson, while introducing the android hero Machine Man into the Hulk's world. Spanning issues from the era, this volume captures the Hulk's journey from mindless rage to a more complex, hunted figure in the Marvel Universe.
In "The Monster's Analyst," the Hulk finds himself drawn into a high-stakes clash when Angel arrives at Gamma Base, pursued by the relentless Master Mold and a mysterious Sentinel. With Iceman caught in the crossfire and the fate of two mutants hanging in the balance, the Hulk’s raw power becomes the last hope in a battle that pushes both hero and machine to their limits. Written by John Byrne and Roger Stern, with art by Byrne and inks by Bob Layton, this gripping tale unfolds with intensity and precision, while the cover by Herb Trimpe and Joe Rubinstein captures the chaos in bold, dynamic strokes.
