Incredible Hulk #69
The "Dead Like Me" arc reaches its chilling conclusion in Incredible Hulk #69, and the cover by Mike Deodato Jr. sets the mood with unmistakable dread. A massive, decomposed blue-green creature — all exposed sinew, dripping tendrils, and bared teeth — looms beneath a full moon against a stormy sky, radiating something far darker than the Hulk's usual brute menace. Bruce Jones, Dougie Braithwaite, and Bill Reinhold bring this horror-tinged chapter of the Hulk's world to a close, and if the cover is any indication, "Trust Me" is a fitting title for a story that's been anything but trustworthy.
