Incredible Hulk #67
The second chapter of the "Dead Like Me" arc arrives in Incredible Hulk #67, and Mike Deodato Jr.'s cover makes an immediate impression — the Hulk rendered in shadowy, textured greens and grays, his massive form curled and sprawling as if collapsed under tremendous weight, splattered with flecks of color that give the image a raw, painterly urgency. It's a striking, almost mournful portrait that fits perfectly with a story subtitled "Bury Me Not." With Bruce Jones writing and Dougie Braithwaite providing interior art, this four-part story is shaping up to be one of the more atmospheric corners of the Hulk's 2004 adventures.
