Incredible Hulk #609
In "Perfection," Bruce Banner is trapped in a surreal realm crafted by the Intelligencia, where the minds of fellow prisoners are enslaved—only Doom remains free to fight back. With Paul Pelletier’s sharp art and Greg Pak’s taut storytelling, the issue unfolds as Doom helps Banner and the others break free, while Skaar’s violent clash with Red She-Hulk and the shocking reveal of the injured woman as Betty Ross leave the story hanging in tense, emotional uncertainty. The cover by John Romita Jr. and Klaus Janson captures the moment’s intensity, a striking visual echo of the chaos within.
