Incredible Hulk #25

The Hulk fills nearly every inch of this cover in a raw, low-angle composition — massive fists raised and clenched, debris exploding around his feet as shockwaves radiate outward in all directions. John Romita Jr.'s pencils, inked here by Klaus Janson, give the Green Goliath an almost geological weight, his muscles rendered like slabs of stone straining against their own mass. It's a milestone twenty-fifth issue from the Jenkins–Romita Jr.–Palmer creative team that wastes no time announcing just how much fury is packed inside.
