Incredible Hulk #108

Part of Marvel's 2007 "World War Hulk" event, this issue continues "Warbound, Part III" with a cover by Greg Land and Jay Leisten that puts the Hulk front and center — armored in spiked gladiatorial gear, fists ready, and radiating the kind of barely contained fury that defined this era. Looming behind him are a monstrous creature and the face of a woman, hinting at the larger conflict surrounding Earth's angriest hero. Greg Pak's story, brought to life by artist Leonard Kirk, inker Scott Hanna, and colorist Chris Sotomayor, makes this a compelling chapter in one of the Hulk's most ambitious storylines of the decade.
