This third volume of the Incorruptible series continues the story of former supervillain Max Damage as he struggles to maintain his newfound heroic path in a world shattered by the Plutonian's rampage. In the sky above Sky City, Senator Swain unleashes his shadow operatives, Daedalus and Icarus, aboard the assault craft Retribution, targeting Max Damage’s hometown of Coalville. Meanwhile, Max races through Swain’s shattered HQ, searching for Alana Patel and the newly dubbed Headcase, driven by a mission that’s personal and far from over.
In "Incorruptible [Chapter 11]," Max and Alana navigate uneasy camaraderie during their tense journey to Coalville, as Swain—revealed as the real architect of both the Diamond Gang and Retribution—turns the public spotlight against Max in a chilling televised confession.
In "Incorruptible [Chapter 12]," Armadale stages a public arrest of Max, only for him to flee immediately to stop the Retribution device. Alana takes a bold stand, exposing Swain on live television, while a tipsy Headcase aids Armadale in choosing villain tech to counter the threat—leading to a tense alliance as Armadale, Alana, and Max go on the run once more.
