Imperial #4

The cover of Imperial #4 says a lot with a wonderfully deadpan image: a wrinkled bulldog lies chin-to-ground, tongue lolling out, pinning what appears to be a glowing Mjolnir-like hammer beneath its paw while a wisp of energy curls upward — equal parts absurd and oddly majestic. Looming in the upper corner, a massive armored green figure and other combatants crackle with fiery action, providing a striking contrast to the dog's complete indifference below. Jonathan Hickman's story "Four," brought to life by Federico Vicentini, Iban Coello, and Federico Blee, with this cover by Marco Checchetto, continues to make Imperial one of Marvel's most intriguing 2025 series.
