Immortal Thor Annual #1

This oversized 2024 annual drops into the middle of Marvel's Infinity Watch crossover, and Salvador Larroca's cover sets the stakes beautifully — a fully armored Thor, Mjolnir raised and cape billowing against a cosmic backdrop, grips a younger, wide-eyed blond figure in Asgardian armor who looks decidedly out of his depth. The tension between the two figures perfectly captures the title "The Idiot Abroad" — someone is clearly a long way from home and in very capable, if stern, hands. Al Ewing, David Baldeón, and Federico Blee helm the main story, with a bonus Death Stone Saga chapter three rounding out what looks like a seriously packed annual.
