Ik ben een Kathaar #3

The third volume of Ik ben een Kathaar brings writer Pierre Makyo and artist Alessandro Calore's medieval Cathar saga to a haunting visual peak with "Aansluiting met de eeuwigheid" ("Connection with Eternity"). Calore's cover depicts a robed, bound figure standing in the rain, head tilted upward with an expression of quiet transcendence, while a crowd of gaunt, desperate hands and faces press in around him from every side — heavy chains hanging in the background completing the atmosphere of spiritual weight and mortal peril. It's a striking, rain-drenched image that captures the tension at the heart of this series beautifully.
