Iceman #3
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe third chapter of Marvel's four-part Icons Iceman miniseries finds Bobby Drake in a raw, vulnerable moment — dressed in a long dark coat, his ice-form partially manifesting along one arm as he staggers through a blizzard-swept, snow-laden landscape. Written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, "Icebreaker" promises a story that pushes the X-Man to his limits, and Steve Uy's cover art captures that tension beautifully — blue, wintry, and genuinely unsettling. With one issue left in the series, the stakes feel as cold and sharp as the storm surrounding Bobby himself.

Iceman and Foe-Dog battle the Augmen across Hong Kong. Bobby makes it to Opal's apartment and she tells him that her boss has been working on a process to augment normal humans with mutant powers but the superconductors overheat on anything other than children. Weiss hopes to use the powers of Iceman to cool the superconductors so he can graft the powers to normal adults. Iceman goes after Weiss but is captured by the Augmen.
