Ice Cream Man #37

A squad of battle-hardened guinea pigs — helmeted, armed with what appear to be pencils and pens, and dead-serious about their mission — creeps through tall grass beneath a warm, amber sunset, while a sign in the background demands "Free the Figgly Bumps." Ice Cream Man has always had a gift for the wonderfully strange, and this cover from Prince, Morazzo, and O'Halloran channels that energy into something both absurdly funny and oddly tense. Issue #37 is the kind of comic that reminds you why you fell in love with the medium in the first place.
