In "Mayhem," the tragic death of Detective O'Rielly at the hands of a corrupt mob and police allies sets off a chain of events that transforms her into the vengeful, super-powered Mayhem. When the gas from Simon Marshall’s experiments—originally meant to kill—interacts with Cloak and Dagger’s abilities, it resurrects O'Rielly with terrifying new powers, thrusting her into a violent reckoning.
