Ann was pushing Dave away. She didn't mind him kissing her, but she didn't like the idea of a public performance. Seeing Ann trying to get away from Dave, the parking lot attendant punches Dave. This ruins Ann's plans of getting Dave to propose and she is initially mad at her unwanted rescuer, Tony Jayson. But Ann has a strange attraction for Tony, who is an accountant working at the club because he has no clients. The incident with Dave leads Tony to be hired by Ann's father and he also gets other clients from Dave's enemies.
