"I Loved Love Was My Undoing!" follows a woman named Jeirn Drake who confesses to being the innocent party in a tragedy six months prior: she was a maid in the home of Don and Marcia when Don revealed he loved someone else, prompting Marcia to shoot him in jealous rage. Now living under an assumed name as Wanda Black, Jeirn has been keeping the secret and rebuilding her life until a delivery man recognizes her as "the singing maid" and asks her out to a movie. "I Threw Away My Reputation" depicts a woman named Martha who becomes entangled with Major Paul Drake, a military officer she meets at a dance; after a court-martial clears Paul of misconduct charges, Martha is blamed and cast out by her alma mater, forced to leave town in disgrace while Paul's reputation remains intact.
