This anthology romance issue contains multiple love stories. "I Love You" depicts a romantic conflict when Bob, a leading man in New York theater, becomes engaged to Sherry while maintaining an intense love affair with her that complicates his professional ambitions—eventually Bob leaves for a quieter life back home. Another story follows Hal Duncason, a young appliance salesman who falls for Jane, a hardworking girl helping support her father; after Hal impresses Jane's father and proves his business acumen, they plan a future together, with onlookers remarking they can live on love alone like a couple married forty years. A third story shows Laurie, a young woman who initially refuses to ride into town with a man named Pete but later accepts a ride home from him after he proves himself worthy of her affection.
