Huntress: Year One #2
The second chapter of this 2008 DC miniseries brings a striking split composition: the Huntress dominates the left side in full costume — mask, flowing black hair, and rosary beads in hand — her expression fierce and determined, while a shadowy man holding a lit candle stands in a church aisle, a luminous stained-glass figure looming behind him. The contrast between her street-level intensity and that haunting, almost sacred interior scene sets a tone that's equal parts crime noir and spiritual unease. With Madison writing and Richards and Thibert on interior art, Huntress: Year One is shaping up to be a thoughtful, atmospheric exploration of the character's early days.
