The Reavers attempt to take Wolverines corpse and the X-Men arrive to stop them with the help of Guardian and Snowbird. Kitty Pryde is able to remove Wolverine from his adamantium shell and they give him a proper burial. Kitty Pryde returns to Wolverines grave at a latter date to find he is now not there.
