About this Collection

This collection presents the epic storyline where the Hulk is exiled from Earth by the Illuminati and crash-lands on the barbaric planet Sakaar. Forced into gladiatorial combat, he rises from slave to leader, ultimately becoming the planet's ruler and setting the stage for the World War Hulk saga. Written by Greg Pak with art by Carlo Pagulayan and others, it collects the core issues of the 2006-2007 storyline.

In "Planet Hulk Exile: Part One," the Hulk crash-lands on the brutal planet Sakaar after learning of a betrayal by Reed Richards and others who kept him from returning to Earth. Forced into the arena, he becomes a gladiator under the rule of the Red King, fighting not just for survival, but for a chance to reclaim his freedom. Written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Carlo Pagulayan, with dynamic inks by Jeffrey Huet and vibrant colors by Chris Sotomayor, this issue sets the stage for a harrowing journey on a world where strength is currency and the fight is never just for glory. The cover, by José Ladrönn, captures the raw intensity of the Hulk’s new reality.
