In "A chacun son destin," the Hulk's relentless assault on the tower housing the Sacred Flame triggers a cosmic shift—sending the flame, now fused with the villain Tyrannus, hurtling into space. Teleported to New York, Hulk and Goldbug find themselves in a city teeming with familiar faces and old allies, as Power Man and Iron Fist intercept Goldbug and deliver him to authorities. Meanwhile, Fred Sloan presses Betty Ross for more insights into the Hulk’s past, while Colonel Talbot, newly in command of Gamma Base, vows to finally end the Hulk’s reign of chaos.

In "Volontés," the Hulk arrives in Los Angeles, mistaken for a threat when he’s triggered by flashing lights at a Hollywood gala honoring actor Grant Marshall. Amid the chaos, Bob O’Bryan—fresh from marrying Diane Cummings—fuses his consciousness with the Living Colossus to stop the Hulk, only for Dr. Aloysius Vault to hijack the statue’s form and turn it against the Hulk. As the Colossus crumbles, Vault’s fragile body fails, and Bob and Diane witness the Hulk’s departure, leaving behind a city still reeling.
