“Deconstructed. Part Three”

The third chapter of "Deconstructed" arrives with a cover that says everything through raw, visceral imagery: a gray-skinned, dark-haired woman strains upward with one powerful arm, gripping the massive stone-textured HULK logo as debris rains down around her, her face twisted in a fierce, anguished cry against a blazing green background. Jeff Dekal's painted artwork renders her in striking near-monochrome, those flashes of green at her eyes hinting at something enormous and barely contained just beneath the surface. Mariko Tamaki and Nico Leon's series continues to look like one of Marvel's most emotionally charged 2017 offerings.
