Part of Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness's "World War Hulks" run, this 2010 issue puts Red Hulk front and center in a genuinely tense situation — tangled in webbing with Spider-Man pressed close on one side and a snarling, winged dark creature looming over them both from the upper right. McGuinness's cover pencils (inked by Mark Farmer) pack the frame with raw physicality, every muscle and fang rendered with crackling energy against a stark black background threaded with webs. "Dogs of War" promises exactly the kind of chaotic, hard-hitting collision this cover delivers.
