In a future ruled by the tyrannical King Arrkam, the Hulk—stranded in time after a t-gun blast—finds himself battling Arrkam’s forces before being captured. When he awakens, Arrkam offers him a desperate alliance against a greater threat: the Executioner, whose true intentions remain shrouded in mystery.

In "Magnetos Triumph!", the X-Men are sent to investigate a mysterious energy surge, only to find themselves caught in a clash between Magneto’s Brotherhood and a curious alien visitor. The Stranger, newly arrived on Earth and trying to understand human ways, unexpectedly teams up with Magneto and Toad—leaving the X-Men to grapple with the revelation that the alien is harvesting mutants across the cosmos.
