Two young inventors in construction helmets go careening through a forest in a homemade wooden contraption — part go-kart, part would-be airplane — with pure, wide-eyed exhilaration on their faces. Tom Fowler's cover perfectly captures the series' spirit: kids who build first and worry about the landing later, set against a tagline that says it all: "Saving the world… one idea at a time." Fred Van Lente and Fowler's collaboration at Image looks like exactly the kind of all-ages adventure that reminds you invention is its own reward.
