Louis the barber meets a childhood friend, Andy Decca. Decca is a rising counterfeiter in the mob hierarchy with contempt for the little people. The envious Louis steals his little black bag, containing the secret to his wealth, plates to print money with. The bag, however, is secured by a poison needle.
