“The Secret of the Hybrid Creatures”

In "The Secret of the Hybrid Creatures," Bob Tarrant's accidental discovery of Martian transmissions through his television sets sets off a chain of events that spirals beyond control. When washed-up director Eric Mills murders Tarrant to exploit the signals for his own film, he unwittingly becomes part of a larger scheme — one where the Martians are using Earth's own to prepare for an invasion. Written by Gardner Fox and brought to life with dynamic art by Carmine Infantino, inks by Sy Barry, and lettering by Gaspar Saladino, this 1961 tale blends sci-fi intrigue with a chilling twist. The cover, by Dick Dillin and Sheldon Moldoff, captures the eerie allure of the unknown.
