DC's long-running anthology of dread serves up "All-New Chillers" with this November 1979 installment, and the cover asks a question that's hard to ignore: "Would You Take the Hell Ride?" Joe Orlando's cover art delivers a genuinely unsettling scene — terrified passengers tumble from a runaway roller coaster car as flames erupt below, while a leering demonic face looms enormous in the smoke-filled sky above, and grotesque figures lurk in the shadowy foreground. With J. M. DeMatteis and Marshall Rogers contributing to "Hell Park" inside, this is a fine snapshot of DC's horror anthology tradition at forty cents a thrill.
