Horseman #4
In "Cry Wolf," Larry Johnson crafts a haunting, dreamlike twist on "Little Red Riding Hood" as Horseman steps into a surreal version of the tale, encountering a wolf in a grandmother’s guise and a mysterious horsewoman in a red hood. Through a surreal transformation into a green wolf and an astral observation of his own actions, the story blurs the line between myth and self, ending where it began—watching a wolf in a crystal ball, with no clear resolution in sight. The entire journey, from writing to coloring, is a singular vision by Larry Johnson, with his cover art completing the eerie, self-contained world.

Horseman experiences a version of the "Little Red Riding Hood" fairy tale, encountering a wolf dressed as a grandmother cooking food in a house, and later a horsewoman wearing a red hood and dress. Along the way he is transformed into a green wolf while he observes his actions in astral spirit form. The end of his journey brings him back to the same position he was at the beginning, observing a wolf in a crystal ball.
