"Wayfaring Stranger," a prose story by John Martin, follows Biz Martin and his cook Mike at a cattle roundup where they encounter a mysterious wayfaring stranger who reveals knowledge of rustlers stampeding cattle through High Pass, prompting Big Jim and Mr. Swingle to pursue the thieves to recover stolen cattle from the neighboring ranch.
