In the first, a young boy boasts to Hopalong Cassidy about his running speed, claiming he once caught rabbits by running them down. When the boy later goes rabbit hunting with other children, he becomes lost in the woods pursuing the rabbits. In the second story, "Mob Law," Hopalong Cassidy confronts a group of lawless westerners who have taken justice into their own hands, creating chaos in Twin River. Cassidy must stop their vigilante violence and restore order by apprehending the ringleaders who are jailing innocent people.
