Hopalong Cassidy #27

In "The Will to Kill," Hopalong Cassidy confronts the outlaw Red Claw, who has kidnapped Mary Lou and hidden her in a cave, demanding the sheriff leave the territory within 48 hours. Cassidy outwits Red Claw by using a fake dynamite stick with an extinguished fuse, allowing him to rescue Mary Lou while the outlaws flee in panic. After Red Claw and his gang are captured and jailed, Cassidy apprehends a squealer who had received a $500 reward but quickly squandered it through gambling and attempted robbery. The story concludes with Cassidy on his honeymoon with Mary Lou.
