Hopalong Cassidy #22
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis August 1948 Fawcett issue promises plenty of Western action, with the banner headline announcing "The Return of THE ARIZONA KID!" right at the bottom. The cover, illustrated by Frank Bolle, captures a tense three-way confrontation: a masked gunman in yellow and green levels a revolver at a frightened man in the foreground, while a young rider in a red shirt and sheriff's star swings a lasso from atop a white horse in the background. It's a nicely composed scene that sets up the drama of "The Bridge of Despair" with real urgency and Western flair.
