Hopalong Cassidy #10

In "Hopalong Cassidy and the Strange Death," Hopalong encounters Frisco Phil, who has found gold in his mine and is galloping around town in celebration. A blonde woman arrives and kisses Frisco Phil, then slaps him when he doesn't recognize her, claiming he kissed her without explanation. The woman threatens to call the sheriff unless Hopalong helps resolve the mystery by finding Widder Jones and forcing him to explain why he kissed her. In "The Second Chance," a new story begins in Twin River at the Bar Z cattle ranch, showing Hopalong and another rider on the trail.
