“Love is Blind!”

In "Love is Blind!", wealthy art enthusiast Lorry takes a daring gamble to win the heart of reclusive painter Fred, who’s been blind for two years. Posing as a blind woman named Dale, she earns his trust—only to find herself falling for him, too. When Fred finally regains his sight after a life-changing operation, the truth unfolds in a moment that blurs reality and emotion. Ken Bald’s expressive art and Lin Streeter’s precise inks bring this poignant romance to life in a 1950 Marvel classic.

Wealthy art enthusiast Lorry learns artist Fred refuses to exhibit or sell any of his paintings. His friend Tex tells Lorry that Fred was blinded 2 years earlier and became a recluse. An operation could restore his sight, but he can’t afford it. Lorry poses as Dale, a young blind woman, to win Fred’s confidence and they fall in love. She convinces Fred to accept a cash prize and undergo the operation so he can support her when they wed. Before he does, Fred meets Lorry and falls for her as well. When Fred regains his sight, he realises he fell in love with the same woman twice.
