Issue five of Image's Hitomi arrives with a cover that's hard to look away from — a heavily armored samurai, bristling with arrows that have already found their mark, surges forward through a swirling, snow-choked torrent with unmistakable resolve. The teal lacquered armor, crimson sash, and blood pooling beneath crashing waves give the image a raw, elemental power that feels both brutal and beautiful.
