"Kid Eternity and Pancho Villa and Don Pablo!" features a supernatural adventure involving the ghostly Kid Eternity. Another story centers on a haunted tunnel of love where a ghost prevents anyone from using it, and Navy personnel must investigate the supernatural phenomenon. "Charlie Horse" depicts the titular character and his screwball pal attempting to capture the bandit Killer McGee in exchange for a reward, with slapstick hijinks ensuing at a National Bank.
Kid Eternity stumbles onto a Caribbean plantation ruled by the tyrannical Don Pablo, where he witnesses brutal treatment of the workers and finds himself imprisoned for interfering. Separated from his guardian Mr. Keeper and unable to summon help from history's great figures, Kid must rely on an unexpected ally—a local woman named Lolita—to escape and challenge Don Pablo's iron grip over the island.
When Bob Masters and Swab Decker score shore leave at a seaside amusement park, they're determined to ride the Tunnel of Love—even after closing time. But the night watchman's chilling warning about an annual haunting gives the evening an unexpectedly sinister turn, and what begins as a spooky attraction becomes something far more dangerous than either sailor bargained for.
Betty Bates, the sharp-witted district attorney, finds herself in a twisted game when a businessman named Ivan Thayer walks into her office to report a murder plot—one he's orchestrating himself against his business partner, Paul Bendt. When Betty arrests Thayer on suspicion, she realizes too late that his confession was calculated to set a trap: he'd use the law itself as his weapon, framing Bendt for a crime committed while behind bars. Now Betty must uncover the fatal flaw in Thayer's scheme and stop him before justice becomes murder.
Charlie Horse and his pal Jeepers Creepers get far more than they bargained for when the notorious bandit Killer McGee takes over their Tree Trunk Inn as a hideout—and the two dimwits must think fast to disarm him before the Sheriff arrives looking for a pie. When an impromptu baking scheme puts them in the crosshairs, Charlie and Jeepers concoct a wild plan involving custard and quick thinking to turn the tables on their dangerous guest.
